WebSphere / WebLogic Administrator

We need an experience WebLogic or WebSphere Administrator (willing to train on WebLogic) to join our team on site at one of our large corporate clients.

As a WebLogic Administrator you will be responsible for:  

  • Maintaining, troubleshooting and tuning a large middleware platform, consisting of WebLogic Server, Integration and Portal.
  • Creating shell scripts to automate everyday tasks, such as deployments, clean-up and monitoring
  • Working with others to diagnose infrastructure bottlenecks and problems
  • Out-of-hours platform support for development and testing teams (non-prod environments) and break-fix support for production environments.

As a WebLogic Administrator your skills and experience will include:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a cluster WebLogic or WebSphere environment
  • Involvement in upgrades
  • Involved in installations and deployment of applications and components
  • Have a working knowledge of knowledge of Apache, Identity Minder, Vignette and or Oracle
  • System performance management
