Axe Services develops and implements web based applications for internal use, intranets, extranets and portal environments. These may be standalone applications, web portals to multiple applications or web front ends to legacy corporate systems.

Open Source Projects
Open source software is a practical, proven and safe alternative for core business applications at an effective price point.
Projects using open source software benefit from functionally rich software at a lower cost. The strength of open source is the collaboration which produces quality, supported software without proprietary vendor lock-in.
When backed with local support, it is a reliable, cost-effective alternative, proven by its use in many large organizations. Axe Services provides implementation and support services for open source packaged applications and custom development.

Application Support
Managed services supplement internal support to cover skill gaps in specialist areas for ongoing support and enhancements, and free staff for other projects.
Trained technicians with specialist skills provide the backdrop to ensuring functional fit and application uptime. External application support can be used to top up in-house support with specialist skills, or to outsource that area completely to the specialists for ongoing enhancements and support. This frees staff for other projects and avoids the wasted training expense of trying to keep specialist skills sets in house across too many applications.

Managed Services
Application assurance through a set of services to manage applications, their underlying environments and ongoing enhancements to supplement existing staff with expert services.
The primary focus is continued uptime and utility of nominated software applications. A set of services are tailored for each client, from supporting and enhancing the software applications, managing the underlying technology environment, to business process improvement and definition of new requirements. Services may be provided onsite, remotely or some combination of these. Hosting off-site is also an option.
Managed services are available for custom developed and package software. Contracts may set specific service levels or monthly allowances for client work.
